So.....Who is getting one after seeing all these bench results?

People want to see some 1080p and above results as it looks like at 4k the r9290x is around 20% faster. These results look promising as i don't think the extra 32gb/s memory bandwidth give the r9 290x a huge advantage over the gtx780at 4k. Surely most of the gains the 290 shows at high res will scale down as its not really like the gtx680 v the 7970 where there's a big difference with memory bandwidth.

I don't know much about vram manufacturers or about the varying levels of quality. Could you please explain your post?

Hynix great, Elpida not so great. Though you can still get good clocking Elpida, Hynix is the best.

News just in, got a better picture from the HIS 290X. Stop your grinnin and drop your linen.

Hynix is crap basically, rarely overclocks well.

Not sure if serious...

Samsung FTW on memory :p

Shame its wasted on a 770. :D :p

Oc R9 290X Vs Oc 780, looks roughly tied in the futuremark bench results, so we can say it will be a case of the 290 wins some and loses some (me completely guessing of course) for 1080P.

Are you getting one bud?
