What i think is for certain is that that in real world benchmarks (not 4k !) that its going to be pretty much neck and neck between the 780 and the 290x , i think this is why we are seeing so many 4k benches so it imprints us into the idea that the 290x is faster than the 780.
For eye infinity users this is going to be a big win but for single monitor users its just going to be the cost factor that's going to sell the cards.
780ti vs 290x at 1080p and 1440p now thats going to be interesting, but again Nvidia is pushing the whole 4k thing so i expect the same insignificant gains at 1080p. I start to swich off to reviews when benches show 1/2% gains and state "the clear winner is !!!!!!", pointless...
