Thank you, I will have a read of that now. OOS on those MSI cards, I should have bitten yesterday, could always RMA as they wouldn't have been opened until next week anyway. Those benches look really good, I have a new CPU (4770k at 4.4) I don't know how much difference that makes as I don't understand much about CPU performance other than the clock speed! I presume I would get slightly higher.

That cpu will be great for dual gpu.

Cool. Back to the waiting game then :) I need to remind myself that I do not need 1k of cards for 60fps full detail gaming at 1440p, but I always feel I'm missing out if I don't get something overkill.

Yeeeeeah I know, gonna be a long week though. Another option is 280X CF but the Sapphire Toxic ones, I was very impressed by those benches and for just a smidge over £500 could be a fantastic option.

lol who knows what will happen to the pricing on them but in fairness, with stock levels so low at the moment they'll probably just stay where they are much like with the 690s did for ages. I won't be looking for anywhere near retail on them though naturally. I waste money - but I'm not a numpty :D.

I doubt there will be any titans going cheap, you'd have to be nuts to buy a 290X if you already have a titan, from the leaks it looks roughly the same performance.

EDIT: On this note, what's the best price/performance 1440/1600 DisplayPort to be looking at? Preferably in the 24" region.

I bought the Hazro 1440p screen but I would budget for a 3rd party stand.

I had a bit of buyers remorse on the Hazro, its a great panel but I wish I had stumped up the extra for an Eizo.
