Yes strictly for those with water cooling or preferably LN2.

lots of people have the card, no complaints from them.
if it was an issue like Nvidia drivers burning your cards or getting a class action suit agasint you then I guess the buyers would be vocal but now? Only a few die hard Nvidia fans who cant get over the fact that 290x owns them up that dont even have the card......................................

and Mantle still not out yet.

Same noise levels and only 10C difference... wow from the way the 780 owners were talking I thought the difference would actually be noticable.

Those Nvidia temperatures ain't exactly fridge like either. The 81oc is probably effecting the gtx780 just as much as the 94 does the r9 290x or more since nvidia cards throttle sooner. This won't be a problem when amd partners put some decent coolers on there.

Wow I just noticed that it needs a 750+ PSU, I was considering getting the 290X but I can't afford to change my 650W Enermax infinity (which is already 6 years old)
