Same. Have my CH6 since mid 2017. Has been with 1800X, 3900X and now with a 5800X3D. Not much love for Asus for neglecting the board, but it has been rock solid with all CPUs, 4 x RAM populated and overclocked to 3800 CL16 with 1900 infinity fabric. -30 here as well with 5800X3D, 4450 all core and 4500 single core(some times 2 cores).I've got it dialled in nicely on the CH6, a 4449 all core boost, single cores boost higher depending on load.
Depends on your screen resolution - plenty of you tube comparison videos. Big difference at 1080p but not so much at higher resItchy upgrade finger has lead me here, I have a 5600 non X chip just now with 32gb 3600 RAM, is it worth the upgrade for mostly gaming?
B550-F mobo and 6800xt if that makes any difference?
3440 x 1440 ultrawide, sorry forgot to put that in my post.Depends on your screen resolution - plenty of you tube comparison videos. Big difference at 1080p but not so much at higher res
In August I upgraded from 5600X to the 5800X3D. I play at 2560 x 1440 and I saw a pretty big increase in FPS. But the increase does vary from game to game, some really do like the vcacheItchy upgrade finger has lead me here, I have a 5600 non X chip just now with 32gb 3600 RAM, is it worth the upgrade for mostly gaming?

Most motherboards support the negative offset. I know MSI and Asus do.Thought I'd have another go at PBO2 tuner but can't get the automation to work. I get the following error but am selecting my local admin user with the correct password:

No one has suggested that you can overclock. @doodah is trying to automate the PBO2 tuner negative offset, there's not even a mention of overclocking. That all do. But no overclocking

What?? Are you reading the same posts as me? There has been zero mentions of overclocking the chip until you started mentioning it, the post was about automating PBO2 tuner via task scheduler. He didn’t say anything about offset. All that’s was said is he trying to run pbo2 tuner…
You cant run it as it will try to over clock and amd locked that out.
As for offer set just go in bios and set -30 all core and move on with your life.
There is no need for core by core tuning as they don’t boost higher and can’t be over clocked
Everyone is well aware you can't overclock 3d chips, PBO2 is what we all used originally for the offset before BIOS updates on certain boards allowed for it to be set at BIOS level.
But now it can be set at bios level.
any reason why you're not doing it via the BIOS? not supported?Thought I'd have another go at PBO2 tuner but can't get the automation to work. I get the following error but am selecting my local admin user with the correct password:
Didn't realise you could, though I have an 8 year old mobo (Asus CH6 X370) so not sure if it does that yet.any reason why you're not doing it via the BIOS? not supported?
might be worth a check, just make sure your bios is up to dateDidn't realise you could, though I have an 8 year old mobo (Asus CH6 X370) so not sure if it does that yet.
