Specifically RAM as I don't have another motherboard to test with (and probably CBA anyway even if I did).

I will try what others have suggested and pump it up to 1.48v / 1.49v and then play around from there.

Get it done, there is no CPU that comes close to the gaming performance at under £500 !

Well just saying as it is, for the money there is no better gaming CPU.
You have to spend quite a chunk more by either moving to an AM5 system, big expense or grabbing a 13th gen Intel CPU.

At £409 on launch, given the use I've had out of it, it was still a decent buy for the performance. Just need some decent (XX70 class - not a rebadged XX60 class

) priced (sub £500) GPU's, we'll be on AM6 by the time that happens :cry:

Thanks, it should last me a good while I would think, I've no intention of going AM5 until possible near its last iteration.
I jumped to AMD when the X570 was released.

I'll probably be interested when the revised CPU's after the current 7xxx series are released. Hopefully any kinks ironed out and cheaper motherboards and DDR5 RAM.

Plenty of life left in AM4 with this 5800X3D CPU.

I changed from the legendary 2500k to a R53600 so I'm sure the X3D will last a good long while if needed!

It's what I use with my 5800X3D and NH-D15. Also did my old 3080 Ti with it. Good stuff for the price.
