So developing new features that require new hardware is anticonsumer?
What about your monitor? It’s not HDR rated, yet it should display HDR? Or your car, maybe it should get AC when you didnt buy a car with AC?
You can complain all you want, just make sure what you’re complaining about actually makes sense.
Edit; also you said it yourself. You’re not happy with DLSS or FSR. You think they’re not good enough. Well, without the hardware solution that is DLSS3 you’ll get something like FSR3 ( which just like FSR upscaling, will be worse than DLSS). And considering you seem to be very hard to please, even if nvidia gave you a version of DLSS3 that wouldnt need hardware to run, you’d be unhappy with it, bash it and not use it anyway. So what is the point?
I've answered yes to the poll, and if the situation was reversed, and Nvidia were found to block FSR, I'd answer yes to that also.
Ah, we've got a poll now too?
Well, I voted yes they are out of order as this would be a bad move all around.
I'm quite aware that NV have always played dirty. Very dirty.
However, I don't think that means others should play like that and I want less of this kind of thing not more.
both are not at it though. Nvidia released a statement saying they dont do anti-competitor stuff and AMD did the opposite.i think a 3rd option of i dont care as they both at it, would have walked the vote
Blocking a feature is never good but its not even proven that they are. The upscaling feature that AMD has in this game is usable by almost every gamer that has ancient gpus. Nvidia if they do it locks out a huge percentage of not only AMDand Intel but there own users as well. Its a night and day difference. If its as is Matt says that to have DLSS Nvidia get there logo on a game that AMD has sponsored then DLSS shouldnt get a look in. Nvidia should forfeit that right and maybe DLSS would be in the game. Nvidia want something without investing it just dont make sense. The poll is interesting
HUB is supposed to be a mainly pro amd fan base, but their Twitter poll showed nearly 80% of users hate it that AMD is blocking dlss. But here only 60% disapprove and 40% support AMD
What are you even saying. Premium treatment?Yes I don't like either because it's degradation of image quality.
But calling out hypocrisy is required in your case, you have an nvidia card and you spent a lot of money in it expecting premium treatment and now you're not.

I spent money for features and i should be content with AMD interfering and blocking me from using my GPUs full potential? And if not im a hypocrite? I can’t even.. i don’t…
Can see what iv been watching today, flooding my recommended feed now lol:
AMD Needs to be Called Out for This
AMD is actively preventing DLSS from being used in their sponsored games like the upcoming, Starfield. This practice is anti-competitive and anti-consumer.So...youtu.be
DLSS if I recall takes a lot more work to implement so of AMD are doing this it is only so their customers whether it be console or pc are better looked after. Granted we don't want either to be holding the other back but I feel if DLSS is implemented it takes up more than the fair share of devs resources to do so.
Maybe nvidia should make their stuff open source?
so they must be telling the truth thenboth are not at it though. Nvidia released a statement saying they dont do anti-competitor stuff and AMD did the opposite.

Same company that said there was nothing wrong with the vram on their own GTX 970 card
