Texture files are very large, they can be in the teens or even tens of MB and one texture set can have 3 to 6 stacked, if you want 4K textures, which if you're running your game in 4K you do, or its not actually 4K, those textures can be 100MB +

Now think about how many textures are in a game, 8GB is a pathetic amount of VRam, the truth is games are still using 1K to 2K textures at most because anything larger than that will not fit in 2015 levels of VRam.

Brilliant, i would have bought tickets and popcorn to watch that.
Sadly there isn't many high texture games out there and seems like many people don't know what they look like.

To me it's a far bigger visual upgrade then RT, since it's either as opposed to and.

If there's any complaints to Devs , it's for them to include a more comprehensive settings options and inclusion of high texture, real AA

Not particularly professional is he? Plenty of media sites do not use fanboys etc.

Sometimes the grown man babies of the PC community just need to be called out and in this instance it's quite justified. We have cretinous individuals on both sides of the aisle trying to justify various childish and in some cases downright shady actions of both companies.

Finished watching, great replies from Tim. He pretty much answers all the arguments people here have put up as well and explains why they are pathetic

? You can have games with dlss and far and not be sponsored, name a sponsored game that has both tech on release, an actual sponsored game.

I don't wonder sometimes if people understand the concept of a sponsorship.

I mean imagine McDonalds sponsoring the World Cup Final and then saying sure I don't mind you can show KFC next to us....
