Ambient Occlusion was introduced by Crytek, Crysis, HBAO is a refined method of it.

Mean I said AMD tech, this isn't just fsrFsr did not exist when cp launched
Any title I've seen with HBAO, it's Nvidia technology not engine based.Ambient Occlusion was introduced by Crytek, Crysis, HBAO is a refined method of it.

You think every game on console has fsr?Cyberpunk was released on consoles and dont consoles use fsr?
From what I could find on YouTube. The last of us and forspoken do not have AMD or Nvidia branding on their splash screen. I didn’t check the credits for these games.Have we had a AMD sponsored game released with DLSS? If so did it have the Nvidia branding anywhere. Never checked to be honest

Okay next time Nvidia does some shady ****, this is gonna be my answer to every AMD defender from this thread. Copy pasted.
Apparently anticonsumer means not being able to play the game.
Honestly people underestimate how good in-house engines are.The thing is before then others were already using screen space global illumination, Crytek again, Crysis 3, which made HBAO obsolete before it was even a thing.
There's plenty of tech between these 2 companies, it's unwise to only call out upscale tech as the only thing that's anti consumer of its inclusion or not. This topic is about FSR and DLSS, what else would you mean

I could not find the splash screen for Uncharted but the credits has Nvidia corporation but not the Nvidia logo. While AMD follows up in the credits with their actual logo.
You won't have to wait long at least.
I have an older RTX GPU and will be buying Starfield.
I'm far more concerned about Nvidia using hit or miss third party dependant tech to make up the performance of their GPU's rather than actual performance.
Its an RTX 2070S and i'm looking at the 4060 thinking my GPU is better than that, what an absolute state of it all, if that's what DLSS means i wish it to die tomorrow.
It will prbably be more dependant on the CPU, I am hoping my 7800X3D does the job
It will....
I have a 5800X, i'm quite happy with that for another GPU gen, when i eventually get one.
No GPU ? Aren't you tiching to get back into Star Citizen ? Meant to be a lot of nice additions recently for performance etc.... since I last played last year anyway
