Some of the desperation people are coming out with is to a whole new level. How are you invested in a company that much you can not just say it for what it is.
Then prove it.

You can literally offer no proof other than claims.

All of this is unsubstantiated it's just fan boys Vs fan boys with 0 actual evidence.

No sponsorship will allow another company to be advertised that doesn't mean it's actively blocking it.

Of the Nvidia titles that are (actually) sponsored how many of them actively advertise competitor technology? Even if it's there it's won't be promoted in the same vein.

The straw clutching on both sides is unreal.

What id really like to see are a couple of game companies leak some sponsorship contracts so we can read the T&CS from both companies.

That will shut every one up and we can move on to the next argument.

Missread that sorry, @ALXAndy

No worries dude. I was still smirking to myself about the line I wrote where Jen put a bogey on the AMD stand. Maybe he wanted to promote the green team? OK, I will stop that :D

The funny thing is being an open sort of person all this did was make me go AMD for the third time in recent history. 6800XT 9 months ago, £700. 6700XT Strix a few months back for the away rig, £320. Now a 6950XT. I just did what a consumer should do, and bought what will suit me better and work better. Not buy a massively over priced Nvidia one and then bleat that the AMD sponsored titles won't support DLSS.

BTW RE Matt's comment about Snaggletooth (IDK why I call Tim that, he kinda looks like a mate who had big teeth who we used to call that) isn't professional no. None of them are. They are all just money hooers. I mean Linus Tech Tips? seriously, I don't remember the last time he gave an actual tech tip. The channel should be called "Linus posts a load of old poop and makes bank".

I could happily drop all "influencers" into an active volcano and I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep.

There was an "influencer" bimbo that came into 1 of the places I work at a bit back, Absolutely no clue who she was, Wanting to setup a camera station, Lighting, Sound gear etc... it's a privately owned gym. Of course without asking permission if she could do that... the owner went over and said "Nope, Get out." I'm guessing she wasn't used to not getting her own way as she said "I'm an influencer" and the boss cut her off mid sentence and said "You're talentless bull$$$$, Get out" it was truly a beautiful moment :D
Ah, the"famous" Tiktok trend of "will he look, so I can yell at him for being a creep?!", likely.

Sorry, what am i to prove? how people get that invested in how companies behave, they are all out to make money, simple. They want you to buy in to their waffle and fight their cause for them.

Aye. Privileged bleating. "Waaah mummy that lady with the GPUs won't support my Nvidia one !".

Jokes man. Like I said, the sheer amount of times I have gone green team because they had features on games I really wanted (like Gamedoesn'twork on FO4).

BTW was it just me, or when Snaggletooth said "We are still waiting for comment from AMD" I saw Lisa typing something like "g3t wr3k3d n3rd" to him.

Why should they comment? none of his bloody business.

Would be funny to see an email from AMD saying "How about you shove a pineapple into your bottom?" or something. Yeah, note to me - don't ever run a company.

No I agree with that statement whole heartedly.

If anything that is the ONLY factual statement in this entire thread.

The reality is for this specific argument no one can provide evidence that AMD is actually blocking Nvidia, and the reverse is also true that no one can provide evidence that they AMD are not blocking Nvidia.

Untill someone leaks some real TCs for sponsorship titles all this is all speculation with no evidence and the amount of people screaming "ahaha my Evil Company is better than your Evil company" is bewildering.

Just got the Little Nicky Hitler pineapple scene in my head then XD

How I can sum this up simply is as follows(In my view). If AMD are blocking this they are wrong. Are Nvidia any different, no far from it and will very shortly no doubt remind us all of it.

As I was told as a child, two wrongs do not make a right :p

I agree with you completely.

My issue is more people are treating this as absolute fact with no evidence.

I'd like to see some credible research or evidence first, there are far too many people on this thread who don't seem to comprehend what a "sponsorship" actually is and seen too think any one who uses X technology is sponsored

These YouTubers don't actually help, when the bandwagon be jammin' they be rockin'

Definitely agree, I am working on the grounds of if as I have highlighted previously in the thread. I personally think the lack of any response from either party speaks volumes currently. They could have a very plausible answer to it all, but if they have I would be giving my PR department a good shoeing if I was them

Anyway, off to enjoy the sun :D

Basically in the license agreement theres an email which you can contact Nvidia if you want to use DLSS but don't agree with all the terms in the agreement. HW Unboxed contacted Nvidia asking if they would allow the use of DLSS without their logos being used and obvioudly Nvidia replied saying that would be fine etc. Nvidia aren't stupid and they would have seen everything going on recently so arent exactly going to turn around to a large Youtube channel saying no logos must be used etc.
So HUB have fallen for that word trap, where there is more in what they didn’t say than what they did.

So it proves that Nvidia logos must be used when using DLSS.
It proves that permission must be sought from Nvidia to not have Nvidias logo.
And Removal of the logo is at Nvidias discretion.

So the question is, will Nvidia permit the removal of their logo from an AMD sponsored title without any other requirements, such as the AMD logo not being present.
