I meant FO76. I got the helmet that gave you an illness (lol) and a canvas bag that wasn't canvas. /bag gate. I then got the actual canvas one about a year later :D

Still I wanted the stuff in my collection. I have a expansive FO collection.
I see, well....

Wait, What?

Did he just say it struggles to compete with the 3060Ti and then say but its cheaper than the 3070 series.....
As was the 3060Ti. the 3060Ti and 4060Ti are the same MSRP, how is that not the problem with it?

Besides all the moral hypocrisies people are tying themselves in knots over, what's the point in being an Nvidia-only buyer and complaining to AMD as if they would care? Why would they care about people who are not their customers? And if they want you to be their customer then they certainly have to close the (real or perceived) gap VS DLSS, whether by hook or by crook. No matter how you slice it what AMD's doing is rational, and if people really want DLSS then they need to direct all their energy at the devs (or better yet - the publishers). The rest is just so much useless bickering.

Exactly. When Nvidia locks everything down to their latest cards no one complains but everyone is blaming AMD for some feature that should be the devs responsibility to add or not. If devs are taking money from a gpu manufacturer as part of some sponsorship deal then it's the devs who should be held responsible for lack of certain features.

Sponsorship deals across all sectors have always been anti-consumer/anti-choice.

If Coke-Cola sponsor a sport, you can guarantee the terms of that sponsorship explicitly prohibits any of their competitors. If Redbull sponsor something, you can bet Monster won't be involved (individual athletes could still be sponsored by Monster though)

I have not read all 30 pages of this thread but this is my 2 penneth.

Over the years both companies have been involved in some less than fair practices.

On Nvidias part there is the 3Dmark cheats , Tesselation forced to break games on AMD hardware, Physx, Hairworks , the existence of DX 10.1 , DLSS existing , DLSS 3 only for 4000 series cards. I am sure I missed some but who is keeping score.
On AMDs part they have maybe blocked DLSS on some games but there is no hard evidence and it is just a half baked theory. Their hardware has also strictly adherred to all the DX standards and made it easier for developers to produce games.

I am sure AMD has done more dodgy things than I said but lets be honest about this. Even if AMD were playing 100% fair and allowing all developers to use anything they pleased even when AMD sponsor them does anyone actually believe that will stop Nvidia from pulling a new stunt in the future? Nvidia even screw their own customers with DLSS 3 being locked to 4000 series cards and if you are like +10% of Steam gamers on a 1650.1060,1050ti then you want FSR in a game more than DLSS.

The original video was humorous and showed how HWu and Tim in particular has gone all in on DLSS but the follow up where they called their entire audience fanboys was hilarious.

I found the video funny. After going over a contract for using DLSS that memtions having to display their badges on the game etc. he then says he contacted nvidia and they just said what anybody (obviously barring the morons at AMD) would say about they can change it if they don't agree. And he just takes it as if they haven't heard of any of this bs they are talking about...

My issue with it is they are wasting the money on this when they could be spending it on improving FSR. If FSR was as good as or better than DLSS I would not give a toss about DLSS not being there.

My issue is they will do a Resident Evil 4 Remake job again and I will miss out and be stuck with a upscaling tech that is relatively poor.

How is this AMD's issue I hear you say? Well, if they want me back buying their stuff on a regular again it is.

I pretty much said the exact same thing a few pages back. HUB is either incredibly naive or just using angle to make themselves correct.

What if this is how AMD launch their next version of FSR, they mentioned frame gen months ago so could this be FSR 3 with frame gen and improve image quality.
