Yup, the big deals are tech partnerships with Bethesda, largely because they are involved with a LOT of games and a lot of games that have needed someone who helps push engines forward. Nvidia seem to be about adding their own guff software to someone's engine which generally makes the whole thing run worse, where AMD help seems to bring about better optimised and designed games for everyone, AMD and Nvidia users.
Look at Tomb Raider from a few years back that came out and ran beautifully for everyone, then Rise of the Tomb Raider, which ran like junk for everyone. Back with Stalker, the second or third one had Nvidia backing, came out and was a mess. AMD started helping them after launch after Nvidia stopped helping them. With AMD's help the game improved and got DX10 added, ran faster and smooth. This is the history of AMD and Nvidia involvement. Nvidia focus on stuff they can market directly at any cost and don't much care about the quality of the title, AMD guys seem to be sent to simply help the game full stop for the benefit of all gamers.
I'd like to see more titles running like Doom at launch, (that is awesome for everyone, and looks great) and damn, if FO5 and Elder Scrolls VI actually run well with great engines and smooth as hell.... I'll cry. I love FO4, but that thing is optimised like crap, yay, who cares how it runs Nvidia, it has your insanely badly optimised godrays and mist in it, woo.
