Put the two together and what I have seen I am very impressed by!

How impressive is the pricing? In this case, the cheaper it is, the more impressive it is.

Is that "This is amazing performance!" impressed or "This is decent and I'm very impressed by price" impressed?
Just a shame that based on the monitor I buy, it will lock me in to AMD or Nvidia for quite a while!
In comparison there is barely any Freesync premium (although that may change with Freesync 2) and from what I've read the monitors run happily with either brand of gpu.
Can confirm that, been running a 980Ti on my Freesync monitor for quite some time now. No issues at all.
Another point in Freesync's favour is that both Intel's onboard graphics and AMD APU's support it and for many people that'll matter too. If you really don't want to minimise your options Freesync's an easy winner.
The new Xbox Scorpio also supports it, now the PS5 just needs it as well, and Freesync will be everywhere!
Does it? I can't find any confirmation on this. Supporting HDMI V2.1 does not equal freesycn support. The hardware is capable for sure but support is different.
Think its another of those things where someone has assumed/made it up and others have repeated it as fact :s

So, yeah, Scorpio seems like a very strong box. Forced 16x AF and v-sync + FreeSync/Adaptive Refresh support are also very cool features.
