I don't see AMD as exhibitors at computex? Surely if they were announcing VEGA at Computex they would want to be exhibiting? Seems odd. http://www.computextaipei.com.tw/en...e=desc&comENamePrefix=A&comCountry=&showArea=

Hmm, that could mean they might announce it at the PC Gaming Show like they did with Fiji?
It's also scheduled for June 12, which is soooo far away. :(

Although this year they Show is sponsored by Intel, and not AMD.

This year’s PC Gaming Show will take place Monday, June 12, at 10 a.m. PT in the Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles.

Once again, the PC Gaming Show will be hosted by the affable Sean “Day9” Plott. But instead of AMD, which got top billing for the show’s first two years, the presenting sponsor of the 2017 event is its main competitor in the CPU market: Intel.

If vega came in matching a 1080 (in dx 11 and as we have seen with the current cards, obliterating nvidia in dx 12) but for £400.... I would be all over it but nah I suppose this is a fail too

Funny thing is, I be willing to bet most of the people in here just want AMD to smash nvidia on performance and price just so that they can buy nvidia cards for cheaper, whilst that may sound rather pathetic, sadly a couple of people have said this on here before :o

I'd buy that, also because AMD does really well in video productivity work, so it'll be win win for me. Although personally I would like 1080Ti DX11 performance.

Still so long before we know anything. AMD apparently aren't Scheduled for Computex, and if they're at the PC Gaming Show that's 12th June; and it's sponsored by Intel this year.

Hell for all we know, AMD might just drop the cards to reviewers, and launch like the Titan X and Xp were.

D.P has any footage from AMD showing this? Or you just trying to justify another mess up by the great Nvidia?

Looks like it! No surprise there though :D :p ;)

I didn't play the game on release so maybe that first graphic glitch was present on release but what I found amusing is that originally I linked just one video about the textures buffering in slowly for nvidia and then we had D.P. trying to blame it on the engine/developers and says that even AMD have issues then links to a video that actually shows numerous graphical issues affecting "only" nvidia cards :D

You can buy a 1080 for £400 already.

It needs to be lower in price than this, or better performance.

I preorder Doom completed using openGL first zero issue with it apart from performance. Vulkan the same again no issues apart this time performance excellent.

Where abouts is this? Is it a good brand/cooler?

Lowest I can see for a reputable brand with a somewhat decent cooler is £500....

Gigabyte G1 Gaming, I don't know how good this one is, haven't looked into it particularly, but I believe it's fine.

I saw the MSI AERO OC for £399.99 the other day including a free game.

Beacuse why?

I'd buy AMD at the same price and performance because i'd rather and have Crimson than Geforce experience.

So would I tbh, I still think it would sell at the same price as a current 1080, however I feel due to brand perception (not mine but the general one) is that AMD are the inferior brand, meaning I don't think it would do well enough for give AMD the market share they are saying they are aiming for.

At least give a clue to who is selling 1080's for that price....

I can't find any for much less than £500, at least not from a reputable retailer....

You have to give me a clue where to get that MSI card. Thats a hybrid in the making. I cant find it for less than £450, and thats some fairly dodgy sites.

Use your Google FU, as not allowed to hint, or name. Needless to say, I think that £375-400 will be the new normal for lower end GTX 1080's once Vega hits.

Just looked on hotukdeals and I can see the KFA2 1080 on the rainforest jungle for £410 but it is from a hardly rated seller with just 8 ratings.... I think I'll pass.

Not exactly fair comparing dodgy as **** sellers or/and one of deals is it..... If nvidia/official retailers drop their prices to £400 on release of vega then great but until then, I see somewhat good brands and reputable retailers selling 1080 for £500+

As the above post says, I don't believe I'm allowed to hint, however the two sites I saw them on, both are very large and reputable sites.

The thing is, Nvidia will presumably reduce their prices slightly when Vega launches anyways? I still think it would need to be around the £350 mark IMO.

It doesn't particularly matter to me either way, as I'm probably not upgrading this generation regardless :P

This^

Good luck finding a 1080 at £400 or less.
