Yep. It's getting harder and harder to find a forum for decent discussion without having to sift through the cesspit for the odd bit of useful information.
Used to think OcUK was one of the few good places left but judging from some of the posts I guess not.

580 is close to £300 so VEGA will be at least £350-£400, with the most expensive model coming close to £600 or more. Disaster!

Maybe. I still can't see the reason for launching the 580. Maybe just to have "new" products on the market? The only good thing about this launch was the price drops and deals on 480.

Except they are £189 at certain shops... so no where near £300

I agree with you, but if an average person is looking at a graphics card and see's one that's brand new with a higher number or one that's been out for 1 year or so with a lower number, it's obvious which they would buy.

Sorry if my pointing out your hypocrisy also highlights your lack of short term memory, you literality posted it yesterday and so it was fresh in my mind from catching up on the thread.

I'd imagine it's more likely that RX Vega will be in the £400-500 bracket.

Crazy innit! Genuinely shocked that so many grown men get so wrapped up about a GPU and anything tongue in cheek is reported or ripped to pieces. Enthusiasts are a fickle bunch I guess.
