im preety sure that if you ordered when they were in stock and the money has been taken out of your account then you will still get one, like u have said im sure they are just realy busy at the moment but they will get round to it

I hope they get some more in. Surely it would be worth it seeing as they sold out so quickly.

The earliest I can get one is the 16th of August which is way off.

well im preety sure they would if they could but it is a case of they are now hard to get hold of as they dont make them any more

Nope, had an email from them saying they did not have enough for fulfil my order.

I have cancelled it, and ordered a brand new fx60 for £320 instead.

fx60 for 320 is still expensive for a cpu. to slow down conroe sales amd should have kept socket 939 in production and churned out fx60 cpus for 200 quid.

Is the conroe really that good?
I have just talked to my manager and just got £640 woth of overtime so can afford the conroe, plus changing my mobo and ram. I was thinking of the conroe 6700, how does it compare to the x2 4800+?

Because everyone seems to miss the fact that OCUK can be as shifty as any other outfit when it comes to selling their wares... people seem to be blinkered into thinking OCUK are some angelic can-do-no-wrong company when in reality they're just a business like everyone else.

My bank account is still not as it should from all the trouble that i have been having so im sitting here still processor-less !

Strange that how they have bunked the price back up - it is obviously to do with demand, but as everyone has said there are loads of places that have them for £200ish now

Strange how gibbo hasn't posted anything on this thread for a while :confused:
