One thing I noticed on installation was that it felt very heavy for a normal sized CPU. Had some real weight to it.
First thing I noted when when installing. Thought it was just me !

corsair mispriced their 64gb ram (4*16) on their website - basically selling it for 32gb money.

It would be very interesting to see how much using DDR3 limits a 9900K or 9700K. Has anyone tested this, or could you post a link showing performance in benchmarks?
Built 3 PC’s yesterday. My new 3900 system was the last one. I was so knackered by the end of it i couldn’t be bothered to do anything. One cinebench run and that was it. Will crack on today.

Is there any idea on when the 3700/3800 are being released?
Hi there
I’ve just come of the phone with AMD who have done some investigating and though it’s unknown as to why the following is expected to now be with us tomorrow:
300x 3700X which covers all pre orders and leaves some spare.
90x 3800X which again covers all pre orders and leaves some spare
Then on Friday we shall get:
100x 3700X
90x 3800X
I’ve also asked for an update on more 3900X so will update as I find out and don’t call OcUK as it is me who knows the facts and I post them on here as I find out so you hear it from the horses mouth as to speak.

Thanks, didn't see that as I scrolled through the pages. More f5 smashing to come. What Gibbo Posted Yesterday in this thread:
