That's a bit concerning regarding Gigabyte boards. May have to look elsewhere for a board if everyone is experiencing the boot up issues.

Not everyone is. No boot issues with my Aorus Elite and 3800X.

I have had some slow boots but in all cases it's been the board memory training after I've tried an overclock. Once I got a stable RAM overclock it boots and works fine.

Best i can get with one of my 3700x on a Tomahawk b350 with beta bios thus far ..still tweaking ...its a pain one wrong move and its pull out battery time.. as clear cmos does not work with this bios..

Best_result_thus_far_3700x_b350_beta_bios.jpg

one thing that caught my attention was low write speeds re way AMD had changed the byte cycles .. does not effect the 3900x just the rest

however some reviewers where getting higher write scores with the 3700x as seen in the link below and a few pages in ..could this be just the reviewers just being lazy & disabling cores on the 3900x to make a 3700x

whats your thought on this ?

Thought I was mad paying asus tax for the hero board at first but seeing the comments here and elsewhere I’m glad I did now, it’s worked perfect from day one. will have a 3900X to also try at the weekend after giving in and buying the 3700x

Help me, I'm losing my mind with this bios and cpu

Given up on mine abit too. Cant get my 3600Mhz RAM to run stably after much tinkering. It will POST and boot into windows and run memory tests and benches all day long. But gaming...Start to hear the audio break up then crashes to a reboot. CBA with faffing too much and hope new BIOS's etc will enhance compatability down the line.

For 3600MHz and 1800MHz FCLK this is what works for me:

Ram: 3600MHz 16 16 16 16 36 1.35v
FCLK 1800MHz
SOC: 1.1v
VDDG: 1.1v

Start your ram at 2400MHz and save and exit BIOS.

Slowly increase ram speed in 4 ish reboots until you get to 3600MHz. (2400 2800 3200 3600)

You should be good.
