Strange this time I could not replicate those fps drops and it didn't drop lower than I think 62fps on Ryzen system.

what screen overlay is that? I’m looking for a good one. I downloaded MSI afterburner, but I can’t seem to get the OSD to show.

Looks like Rivatuner to me. Usually get the option to download it when you download afterburner.
Needs to be open/in tray to function, and you need to enable the various OSDs through Afterburner in the settings IIRC.

Its MSI AB Rivatuner.

Click on the cog, in Rivatuner click monitoring tab, in graph make sure the tick is on, highlight it by clicking on it and check box show-OSD

Interesting. The Asus TUF is nearly 10 degrees lower for both measurements compared to the Aorus elite.

Shame the Gigabyte Master wasn't included in that testing. That's likely the board I'll go for.

I remember 2 weeks ago when people ware laughing from slides Asus had with temperatures of VRM's ?? Guess people that gotten that MSI motherboard that costs more than of are not laughing now lol.

I think its the headspreader design. Said I got no rm problems on my C7H and pulling ore power than anyone iw seen. Was benching yesterday CPU pulling 215W thats 200% of 3900xs normal figures

I have never seen the VRM temps on my CH6/2700x go higher than 50c, that's measuring direct with Fluke under full load at 4.25Ghz. Even when i chuck in a 3950x, i can't see them going over 60c/65c.

Hmm I may just cancel my order of the Elite then and stick with my other option of the TUF.

I got elite over TUF cause aof amount of USB ports on asus being not enough for my mate and hes VR setup. Eventually Bioses on Gigabyte will get better. And Cant fix lack of ports on back with bioss update

They are same price more or less so depends how ya feel about gigabyte and asus.

Don’t have to wait for usb updates you can allways expand them yourself no waiting usb hubs and usb pci-e cards usb headers on Mobo also.

When I’m looking at a Mobo usb headers are properly the last thing I look at although generally the more u spend on a Mobo the more u get my asus Crossair viii hero has a stupid amount of them

You would do with 30c+ ambient temps, do it on a normal day though and i bet your temps would be in the mid 50c. I do fully expect the 3950x under full load on a normal day to get to the mid 60c though.

Well I ordered the Elite as it had a price drop to £189. USB ports don't really bother me. Just what is best bang for buck and able to cope better when I go 12 core in Ryzen 4xxx.

I'm fairly sure the Aorus Master uses the same VRM and controller as the Xtreme. Also the board is solid, I have one.

Got a TUF arriving tomorrow, was either that or Pro.. Almost same price tho.

Was gonna get the Aorus Elite but no debug LEDs put me off for some reason, will see how goes.
