There's nothing in stone about what clocks each will run overall.

AMD are running the spin well.
It was only 2 years ago that suddenly we needed 8 cores to play games and stream.

Now they're trying to say you can't do that

Not really.

We're seeing whatever clocks AMD are showing.

Means nothing to mean if 3900X is better than 3800X.
But I'd still expect the 3800X to win with higher clocks (*If* it achieves higher clocks)
