AMD Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000) - *** NO COMPETITOR HINTING ***

The top model those X370 Gigabyte hi-end boards will support is 12c/24t Ryzen 9 3900X. Still great, let's just hope the new Ryzens won't be too restricted in those older motherboards. You can find all the details in Support -> CPU Support on GB's website.

Ah yes good spot. Although maybe the 3950X isn’t listed yet as it’s released later and isn’t officially supported yet?

Either way I’ll be looking at the 3700X or 3800X myself so looking good, let’s hope they perform well!

@humbug @andy_mk3 by dust i ment. KLast time I was swapping gpu to that 1080ti Sea hawk EK edition there ware dust BALLS in the pc.... Now something went HDD most likely as it was not under any load just idling. Spark ignited dust and from that cables and went on. If he had not had METAL side panels it would have torched the freaking home.

It's not PSU or Coolant leak from what he sees fire started from HDD's basket.
one more shot. Spec was [email protected] 32gbs of ddrs 1080ti 3x2tb hdd +500 gig ssd. AAA and Superflower 1000w psu

Update is... Fireman said it looks like Fire started from Hard Drives Cage.

:D I love my GQ now, handles my Vega 56 very well :)

I actually did clean out the HX520 and it worked great, kinda looks new again :p

My last PSU, XFX 750 Watt, turned the pins on my GPU black, to the point that it blocked the connection...... that's when i took the '#### this' approach and just splashed out £95 on that 650 Watt PSU.

It's worth it, the voltage ripple is almost 0 the volts are rock solid and you can feel it, the PC just feels happy, the overclocks are very stable.

The dumbest place to skimp is the PSU. My ax860 has been worth every penny and is 6 years old now. Even handled a quick spike of 500+ watts through one pcie splitter. Only took out the cable. Such a champ.

I want.

Wonder if my Girlfriend will allow me to bump my budget up to 1.5K for my rebuild :p

I Just don't understand why they have put a block on the VRM's then left the chipset with a fan. If they had put a block on that as well it would be my board of choice. If I buy a board in that price range it would be the gigabyte extreme for the passively cooled chipset.
