I will buy an x570 but I upgrade on such an infrequent basis; still on a 3570k so price offset over the years will be acceptable. Until the next things comes out...no idea of which x570 I will buy.

What x470 boards should I be looking at for a 3900x? Going to splash on a Super 2080 instead of a 570 board since I will not be overclocking that much.

Uhh those were reviews of last gen motherboards, nothing to do with Zen2.

But yes it looks suspicious that the performance dropped from b350/x370 to the next gen, very odd

Im just saying for others to be aware of reviews coming from popular sites thinking they are the go to review sites.

You'd see some oc the RAM to 3466 thinking - wow thats nice. Closer look you'd see they used CL19.

I've not looked at the reviews from each reviewer with all the other comparison boards but, are they all using 2400/2666 ram? with a 2700x?!

Guess if it's all apples to apples but still, 2933 would be the review minimum surely?!

indeed. I could understand if it was day one, a new architecture, required something exotic and the reviewers just didn't have anything else to hand, but it was a + to first gen. Deffo always worth getting a feel for the reviewer whose content you're reading from their test setup

i wouldn't pay attention to that trash 4k is posting (yet again). cherry picked results with no context whatsoever.
