AMD Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000) - *** NO COMPETITOR HINTING ***

They work so all good...

When you say "work" does settings like XFR/PBO, Ram XMP etc work as intended. I only ask, as you said the BIOS for older gens were buggy..so in what way are they buggy? Is it only if you manually overclock?

I think it's tempting for those with x470 or even x370s with no current issues and apparently good vrms to try zen 2 in there. I imagine most of the reviews will focus on the performance with x570 and fair enough, that platform will give the best performance.

8pack what sort of bugs are we talking about?

Xmp worked upto 3200 on all. XFR is OK. PBO is not working as on x570. I mean I am also not checking everything. Would I build an 8Pack solution on old tech no.... Ofcourse not... I checked basic sfuff for other SI projects... But basics are working.

Of course they'll say it works. They don't want lost sales. lol

Expect all Ryzen 3000 with motherboards to be buggy

I appreciate a salesman will say it works to sell the item, I'm not that daft :P but equally if they say it works and doesn't then it's mis-sold and I'll be returning it at their expense.

I'm only really trying to clarify what "buggy" means really. If it's only if you mess with manually overclocking, then that's fine as I won't be messing.

Cheers, that's all I needed to see thanks.

Guess you'll find out when you buy. I believe tomorrow will be very interesting:D

I live in Dubai, my local shop has x570 mobo Asus ROG Strix x570-F gaming for delivery tomorrow! Can I post the price?!? No sign of any CPU though?!?

When is release time? I am GMT+3

From the Navi thread..

We have to put a product in to ensure the sections go live and sections can take over a day to appear and as its a Sunday launch were making sure it all goes smooth for 2pm, of course that is where cards shall appear and we have around 1000 in stock. :)

That'll be UK time.

They have 1000 Navi GPUs and only 12* Ryzen CPUs?
I think it pretty obvious to everyone that Ryzen CPUs will massively outsell Navi GPUs, so how OCUK can claim that Ryzen CPUs are truly in short supply is just a nonsense.

*they'll have more than 12, but judging by the crap being posted then that's what they're asking us to believe
