AMD Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000) - *** NO COMPETITOR HINTING ***

why the **** is there no more information on how much motherboards are going to be - given the apparent plethora of them that are going to be available surely there must be pricing floating about somewhere - and not from Billy Liar (adoredTV) or is it a super secret asus, gigabyte et al are keeping as a little surprise!?

Probably be on launch day.

well that sucks like taking a drink of 3 day old stale dog pee through of a pair of mouldy granny knickers.

You must have hated every single platform release pretty much because that tends to be the norm lol.

I mean vendors may choose to say their prices but that doesn't always happen.

We're lucky to know the price of these new CPU'S to be honest

ha yea fair one - i don't normally pay a huge amount of attention normally to platform releases until a few weeks after actual product launches. sadly this time round i paid a bit more attention - i'll not be doing so again! lol

I'm not sure that the mouldy granny knickers make that significantly worse than the dog pee was to being with. How old are the knickers?
oh they will make a huge difference.....i'm talking several weeks old, and they are well worn.

So with a 32% uplift at single thread perf in CBR15 with the 3900X that will put the score in and around 2 points off a 9900k but with a wooping increase in multicore perf, using less power? For about the same price.

While having lower clocks as well.

Ryzen 3000 looks very good. Excited to see third party reviews though; some independent testing should shed some light on the actual numbers.

Oh yeah, it has a single core boost of 5Ghz compared to the 3900X 4.6Ghz. Very interesting.

If they could have squeezed a 5Ghz single core boost out of it they would be completely run Intel into the ground on all fronts.
