13900K needs 110W more power to match the same score of the 5950X in R23. holy inefficient CPU batman
Of course it does, yes it has those extra E cores, but its still just a 12900K cranked up and rebranded 13 gen.

Is this what the ceo meant by rearview mirror?Of course it does, yes it has those extra E cores, but its still just a 12900K cranked up and rebranded 13 gen.
Not according to...every other review. Only hwunboxed and techpowerup have wildly different numbers.
Computerbase has it scoring 39k at 253w. Guru 3d and club386 have it at 38k
Well, ofc a CPU with 16 E-cores was going to be ahead in multi core performance!
The thing that surprises me, is people think that this is something worth having.
Turn off the E-cores, then see how it fares
both the top end 13900K and the 7700X fare well in games:But the Core i5 13600KF costs only slightly more than a Ryzen 5 7600X and does better in most cases. But AMD chooses to price the Ryzen 5 7600X more per core than a Ryzen 9 7950X.

I think at least an extra 10% when compared to the 7700X. Maybe 15%.Pretty hyped what the x3d will do
So do we expect AMD to cut prices?
Intel need to cut prices tbhSo do we expect AMD to cut prices?
Is there a launch date for the next AMD chips?

Anyone know if the Asus X670E Extreme board has been in stock at all yet and if not any idea when it might be available?
After seeing the intel reviews I think I’m going to get a 7700X and swap it for the X3D next year.
If not the Asus maybe the MSI Meg Ace but not had MSI since the 90s and was a bad experience. 20 odd years have past, maybe I can let it go.
I've had no issues with MSI x570 unify going 2 years actually had issue with a Asus board years back
It hasn't put me off either just put it down to bad luck
It’s expensive but I can vouch for the Hero X670E very solid board. My issue with MSI was in 1998 with a slot in socket pentium 2 board. Was doa and they wouldn’t replace it.
Haven’t touched them since
I do like the look of the X690E Meg Ace though.
I’d like an EATX board (big caselabs case to fill) and 10g Ethernet so I can drop the pcie card.
