i GPU off
Game crashed after 10 mins
i heard the fans spin up (case fans i think) then it rebooted itself

im going to turn off WIFI and BT, one at a time

still think its the motherboard at this rate, but ill get a new GPU first

think i might be onto something

i googled the Death Stranding error code, and i read on reddit , a guy said running out of VRAM
ive only got 8Gb

new GPU time i think, and re test with 16Gb !

Shouldn't be getting errors like that from running out of VRAM - the game would just offload the data to system RAM, which would make the game slow down/stutter but not fatally crash.

Ideally you need to test each component individually, though prob best for a PC shop to do this if you don't have access to all the components you need.

would suggest running everything at stock if you havent already and see if it happens again

Its points toward the cpu having a weak memory controller, is you system fully stable at default setting? only crashing when you enable expo?

Yes I believe so

Googled voltages

Noticed that when I put Expo on (5600) the dram voltage goes from auto to 1.25v

I've read that 5600 needs 1.3 to 1.35

So I've now just changed to 1.35v

Testing again now

At this point, I would set everything to stock and wait for the next BIOS, it should be out soon. If it all runs 100% stable at stock, it will be a pain to RMA anything as they will just send you it back saying it works fine.
