Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. *** AMD "Zen 4" thread (inc AM5/APU discussion) ***

EXPO (first profile) set memory values and voltages; the second profile sets more values than the first but might be less stable. How many it sets I don’t know. If the values are not set or set to Auto, memory training will try and find stable values.

This might be dumb but try the XMP profiles if your mobo has those. IDK why but XMP works for my 5600 mhz ddr5 on AM5 but expo doesn't like to, even though Expo is plastered over the packaging and I bought it from the expo section

the Kingston are

KF556C36BBEK2-32

30 mins in now and no crash

Default to -

36-38-38 @1.25v
5600
Expo remains unchanged (disabled)

So is that good enough ? What does EXPO do that changes something else?

Dam it spoken to soon, it crashed

Looks like I can't play it anymore

I was just on another retailer site to confirm specs and interestingly they list the voltage as 1.3v. Yet, the 16GB datasheet (couldn't find the 32GB datasheet) says 1.25v. :(

• Default (JEDEC): DDR5-4800 CL40-39-39 @1.1V
• EXPO Profile #0: DDR5-5600 CL36-38-38 @1.25V
• EXPO Profile #1: DDR5-5200 CL40-40-40 @1.25V
• XMP Profile #1: DDR5-5600 CL36-38-38 @1.25V
• XMP Profile #2: DDR5-5200 CL40-40-40 @1.25V

As per the PDF, have you dived in and tried manually assigning the values as well as the tRC, tRFC and tRAS? They are listed in the PDF as well.
