As I see all the talk about 9800X3D.

They only released the 9800X3D early due to Intel releasing their new processors and after seeing what they had to offer I doubt they even had to bother lolIt will most likely launch early next year. Unless Amd drops bomb and launches them during this year.

High prices if these will be prices
but they only have 30% market share. how awfulShock as AMD can charge what they like when Intel don't bring out anything competitive
AMD sets Ryzen 7 9800X3D review embargo to lift on November 6 - VideoCardz.com
AMD 9800X3D reviews go live the day before launch Plenty of time to make a decision. If there’s one thing PC enthusiasts aren’t fond of, it’s reviews going live at the same time as sales officially start. This timing often leaves little room to read or watch reviews in-depth before making an...videocardz.com
a lot of posts are unnecessary toois a review embargo really necessary AMD, there is hardly any improvements this time round, 5-10% if lucky.
those who bought 7800x3d when they first released got amazing deals, that CPU is top performer for so long. This release cycle everything is all MEH with hardly any improvements both intel and AMD, neither CPU or motherboard are offering much over the last gen. Just a little faster ram and USB 4.

Which boards have an external clock gen at the mid range level?
Always going to be strangled by the Fabric clock.Nice. Will do some research to see which one oc’s mem the highest next
Can you squeeze out more performance with the bclk? Hasn't really been spoken about since Zen1.Which boards have an external clock gen at the mid range level?

Hey @RSR - three questions further to your posts above… asking as a noob!
(1) You have your memory speed at 8000, UCLK at 2000 and FCLK at 2200 - would the overall latency be faster / lower with the FCLK at 2000 because of this syncing with the UCLK? Have you tried this?
(2) Your RAM voltage seems high at over 1.6v - a lot of the guidance I’ve seen suggests that anything over 1.4v is ‘high’ but is that nonsense? What’s the limit on sticks like this?
(3) Do you have cooling over your RAM to support these speeds?
Sorry to ask! No need to reply!
A lot of people say this but it's completely false. They very much still have to convince people to buy, just look at their financials every Q (client sales are often limping). To say nothing of the fact that these performance discrepancies really only affect the enthusiast DIY market for the most part and most sales still go in OEMs and the like (to say nothing of laptop where AMD hasn't been able to ramp up adequate supply for years). It's true that they're bleeding Intel every year, more and more, but they're still far from dealing them a killing blow - hell, they can't even attain majority! Intel will have to stay at this low point for a decade before AMD can truly surpass them.Shock as AMD can charge what they like when Intel don't bring out anything competitive
