Cheers, for me as I'm buying a new case, mobo, memory, CPU, and cooler (total ~£1000), £50 isn't worth the pain of waiting a few weeks

It would be nice if they did, the 7900X3D actually looks decently priced now that the 7800X3D has gone up £100+.Yeah the chip that really interests me is the 12 core 9900x3D. It would be a perfect middle ground for me if they improved the gaming performance over the 7900x3D.
That's exactly what I did myself, also few months ago. I chose a good moment when hype caused 7950x3D to be barely more expensive than 7800x3D at that point in time - I'm still very happy about that. And performance is really good, considerably better for me then 5800x3D could provide outside pure gaming, for sure.So glad I upgraded from the 5800X3D to 7950X3D a few months ago instead of waiting for the 9950X3D, because I seriously doubt they’ll be much more than 5 to 10 percent quicker going by the current non-3D ones, and Intel is a bit of a flop.

Agree - If it does indeed have the 3d cache on both sides, then it all comes down to the inter-CCD latency... I'd love an upgrade over my chip but depending which review you look at the gap still isn't enough.... just want a new shiny thing!9900x3d might end up being quite a nice little chip this go round rather than the ugly duckling, if its confirmed 3d v cache on both chiplets and with the recent inter-chip latency reduction microcode.
Agree, £100 for a few usb 4 ports. I'm so glad I bought a 670e when they came out. Yes they were expensive, but I feel I'm getting my money's worth out of it after the 870e release.I'm going die the 9800X3D with 64GB 6000mhz memory leaning towards an X670e rather than a X870e board saves about £100
