Two Chipsets, B350 and X370, both boards look nice.

From what I remember, the X370 is meant to be similar to X99 in that it has enough PCIe lanes to deal with Crossfire/SLI, whereas B350 is more akin to Z270 in that it allows overclocking but is only really suited to a single GPU.

Is the bottom 6 pin one for powering something in the PCI slot? I've seen 8+4 before but the placement of that 6 pin suggests something else.

Additional PCI-E power, older boards had a molex for it. Means you can plug in four GPUs and more without worrying about motherboard death.

I have one on my Gigabyte Z97 Gaming 7. Manual says to use it to improve stability in crossfire / SLi.
