The reality of the situation is that my 970, 16Gb ram and 3570k is actually ageing quite well at 1200p. Still delivering exemplary gaming performance.

Might skip upgrading this year altogether. It's not really necessary.

I need a game that I WANT badly that wrecks my PC to upgrade. Doubt anything in 2017 is gonna do that to current set up.

You understood the reason behind the warning. If you continue to bait users with your claimed access to super secret samples (lol), then your access to the subforum will be removed. It serves no purpose other than to provoke and antagonise, when you can't back it up ;)
 
It's kind of comical that the mods have gotten so fed up with his baiting that they have stopped deleting posts calling him out and started making their own XD

Post your email "proof" (yes I read your edits) or wait until there is something factual to discuss. Nothing more annoying than hinting that your know something but can't or won't elaborate. It's not like this has been a one time thing, you have been trolling for months.

Oh, and there are no secret samples - very few media outlets will be getting samples pre-launch, make of that what you will too, yes?

Think that speaks words for your agenda, don't you? I don't really care what you or anyone thinks. Perhaps I shouldn't have prodded the bear (humbug), but I don't have to justify comments to anyone in here. I think it stems from people not understanding how the industry is glued together.

Users do get sampled, I'm sorry if that is such a travesty to some.

Sorry it offends you....

Has nothing to do with ego. If we break what I've said down in the past, it's probably worse than no info on the basis 1) Most users don't understand how overclocking really works 2) They'd rather get their info from a site that's very name is French for "Unsubstantiated rumors". I think that says all one needs to know about users attitudes, frankly.

I tell it like it is, and if you don't like it, don't reply. It's really that simple.
