Asrock tend to 'cheat' on their vrm phase counts by using a technique called doubling. There have been a few repoorts of AM3 boards with doubling supporting the fx 9590 but then failing because it's not enough.
I bought an Asrock FM2 board recently-ish. On the plus side it had more up to date features than any board by any other manufacturer (M2, Usb 3.1 gen 2). On the negative, overclocking was almost impossible because the vrms got very hot even at stock.
Also, who wants a board named after an unpleasant medical condition? (pro vd) (MSi, not Asrock btw)
