TBF,its going to be a relief when the reviews are out. It will be either:
1.)Ryzen is competitive in IPC,but losses in the ultimate clockspeed wars,so a highly clocked quads core Core i7 will push forward in older games,but losses in newer titles,and the R7 1800X holds its own against the Core i7 6900K. Intel will drop prices.
2.)Ryzen has meh IPC(below Haswell),so does not do that well. Go back to buying Intel per normal for performance gaming rigs. All the people who pre-ordered Ryzen will hate on AMD in every thread.

Then we can start arguing about Zen+ and Coffee Lake,and whether Zen+ will be what Zen should have been.

Despite his often condescending demeanor, he often provides pretty good info, Loadsa on the other hand, bought 2 x Fury, could never get them working very well as Xfire Sucks and now pretty much haunts any AMD Vega based thread spewing vitriol, seems he's spilled over to CPU section now too. I can understand his hatred towards AMD GPU's, but at the end of the day he bought 2 cards, no one forced him, he should suck it up and move on lol :)

Matt in all honesty most of the people that run these tech sites are morons with huge ego's, and i bet many of them have taken payments to gloss over stuff or to give a favourable review on stuff, i dont read or watch any of their junk, i rely on members of forums like these posting benchmark comparisons to get my info, quite often the Kaapstad run benchmarks in the gpu section will have enough info to show you sweetspots in gaming rig setups.
 
Youtuber like Jay aint going to risk his rep by purposely displaying zen in a bad light, he would be quickly found out and discredit him and his channel of which he makes a living off.

You want reliable benches check digital foundry out.
