2 retailers have confirmed 1800X shipments for delivery tomorrow.....

My Asus Prime B350 arrived today. The CPU supposedly is arriving tomorrow, or will it be the Forum Police instead... who knows!? :D

Ah the joys the pre-ordering. I'm probably going to be the victim of the greatest CPU fraud in history and discover Ryzen is infact simply a rebadged piledriver CPU with a nice new name printed on the heatspreader. :D

Youtuber like Jay aint going to risk his rep by purposely displaying zen in a bad light, he would be quickly found out and discredit him and his channel of which he makes a living off.

You want reliable benches check digital foundry out.

Yes. My point was there will be many independent reviews to choose from soon.

Matt in all honesty most of the people that run these tech sites are morons with huge ego's, and i bet many of them have taken payments to gloss over stuff or to give a favourable review on stuff, i dont read or watch any of their junk, i rely on members of forums like these posting benchmark comparisons to get my info, quite often the Kaapstad run benchmarks in the gpu section will have enough info to show you sweetspots in gaming rig setups.

about the same i do scour the forums for peeps results and off the shelf products rather than primed product sent to these ego tubers.....

Its true, you only need to look at benchmarks for a particular game in the GPU section, take say the top 30 scores, then look at what cpu / overclocks etc they are running, from there you can generally find out the rest of their system etc.

Some benchmarks of how much memory speed can effect games (obviously not all games need memory speed): http://www.techspot.com/article/1171-ddr4-4000-mhz-performance/page3.html

It's with a 6700k at 4.5 GHz, so almost the fastest single-thread performance currently available (i.e. removing any single-thread based bottlenecks)

This shows testing Zen with 2133 MHz memory (and an old BIOS) isn't really very useful. We'll need to look out for reviews that have faster memory, and ideally a couple of the games from this review on the list.

I'd rather trust the people here. I hope AMD don't mess this one up.

Yep ...be great if some one would create a channel take all the info from them all and create a overall what works better with what ect ....huge database ..not just in benchmarks but DPC of the motherboards ect for the DAW crews
