The only thing now connected is the RAM and the chip, I have even gone out and bought another chip, just in case it's the chip that's borked but it's a last resort to open it, do you have any more ideas?

both sticks, or have you tried just one at a time ?
 
Got the 1700 got the Ram but no MB ordered on the 22nd now been told via email not arriving till Monday thx OCUK thought you would have done a Saturday for me

will be sat here this weekend very very sad :mad:
 
Is 0d defiantly a memory fault ?

someone more clued up can probably give you a better answer because i haven't worn my geek hat in years. I think the 0d error covers pretty much everything from memory gpu usb and so on. I would try reseating everything one by one. Also do you have a usb keyboard and mouse attached whilst you are getting this error ?
 
I have just looked at the manual for the CH6 on their website and it states Codes 0C-0D Reserved for future AMI SEC Error Codes... :(

If its D0 its a CPU error according to your manual.

Nope screen doesn't even come on, the only things left connected are 1 stick of ram the cpu and cooler and that's it, as I say I have bought another cpu but am reluctant to open it because the cpu error codes arnt coming up

Do mobo error codes tend to be pretty much the same across manufacturers still ?
