Ive pretty much got the same setup as Scramz,running it at 3.7Ghz using the stock cooler till my bracket comes. Love this cpu.

Power = Performance mode but sure no different with balance.

4Ghz nees over 1.4v and the heat output rockets at 1.4v so on air I am not pushing that. Topped at 71c but I am not sure what these CPU's can take and wouldn't want to brick it.

Just to add, 3.65Ghz @ Stock volts Real Bench H254 5 runs with ease.

You could always try reading it off the screenshot - F1 (so these alleged F4 steppings don't seem to be around yet).

1700x/1800x are irrelevant when you have the 1700 on the market, and it comes with a swish cooler.

It seems so we just need more info re this i am hoping digital foundry guys go into more detail about it ...Just bugs me when we have some of the big reviewers pointing out that they feel Ryzen feels smoother but then not investigating it further ....

I am seriously looking and been browsing the web on hiring a 500 fps+ camera and run tests re this myself if non of the big reviewers can be bothered too..

I seem to remember a video or a slide from AMD about it but couldn't remember if it was about Ryzen or Vega. Seemed weird that they'd comment on that but raised an eyebrow.

Yes. 5~ years of support. Thats one of the big draws to AM4.
