AAHHHH HAA HAA HAA HAAA HAAA! :D :D

I have just gone back to the point where you can tweak your character, I forgot to set light armour as one of my skills :)
So I'm running a x1800xl evrything on @1280x1024 with HDR, have installed fraps and am was getting 30-60fps in the underground section at the beginning.

Have found that the game likes to crash when alt-tabbing back into it, coming out is ok :( But did see that in the readme.

The inventory system is the biggest change and Curio I don't know how you have been getting the map up but if you go into the inventory and click on the compass heading it pops up.

I keep finding myself trying to right click to bring up the inv but now that just raises your shield, or sword if you have none equipped. The tab key brings up the inv, I may have to play with key and mouse button assignments a bit.

If anyone wants to see any screenies I could get some for you, other than that I'm running an opty [email protected] with 2gig ram. So far it seems to run fine as I had expected on this rig.

Edit: ok just caught up on the thread a little :) will post screenshots soon

Would there be any benefit for me upgrading from 1gb memory to 1.5gb?
I doubt it. There may be a slight improvement in performance but i don't think that it would be that noticable. You already have 1Gb RAM which should be fine, the CPU & graphics card seem to be the most important components.

How good is the Character creation tool in the game then? Is the face creation tool as good as the Facegen software in that you can use photos to create faces etc. Or do you just have to play with the sliders until you hopefully get something you like?

I just quite fancy the idea of my character actually having my face in the game :)

I've jsut been playing through the tutorial and its great, just scratched the surface really and now I need to go out ;(

The game is very atmospheric, had headphones on and was walking in the dark with my torch, which after a while burns away and goes out.
So wandering around in the dark a big rat runs and jumps for me, I fired a fireball spell at him and hit him in mid air and he went flying back and died hehe.

I made a pure mage and im not going to use any weapons or armour, seems to working ok so far :)

I'll try post some screenies later.

The face gen part looks a little different to the actual software we were playing around with and I think as somebody said before if you want to get other faces into it you would probably have to use the CS.
The adjustments work like they did with the facegen prog, you have to go into different submenus to alter different aspects and is easy to use.
