An Elder Scrolls: Oblivion thead

I'm pleased because I've only played Skyrim.

Then again I've finally only just got lost in Cyberpunk so by the time I've thrown mods and finished with it hopefully the remaster will have had the bugs sorted :)

That's kinda my worry.. A graphics overhaul is one thing, but the actual game mechanics are going to be.. Clunky?

Unless they've rebuilt the game from the ground up..

I can't see that being the case though.
Yeah, a polished turd is still a turd.

Not that I'm saying it is, as I've never played it, but I can imagine.

Hopefully it has been remastered rather than just repainted.

It must be ground up if it's UE5?

Hey, I'm not casting aspertions.. :) but a game that origonaly ran well on an AGP card with *checks notes* 256mb of GDDR3 vram...

I'm very interested to see what it's like, but at the same time, I think I'll wait for some real world reviews! ;)

Love it or hate it, sykrim was 1000% better, and that's not exactly a spring chicken!

I'm just thinking some things are better left as memories!

Nah, some remakes are pretty awesome, just look at Resident Evil 2 & 3. Ground up & they are brilliant.

Just played through RE2 again as last time it didn't have any ray tracing, it looks great & still plays brilliant.
