There are those who already got the game, and others who genuinely don't like it. This is a sorry show from Micrsoft.
 
Why? they had no real need to give us anything at all, a phonecall is all it takes to cancel live and be refunded for your remaining months, if the problems they suffered made you feel that bad about it, but as already said Live still worked fine, dashboard was slow but you could still get into games and friends list via the guide button, and when matchmaking was down player matches worked perfectly.

Exactly. I'm sorry but it's absolutely pathetic how worked up some people are getting over this. If it really, truly bothered you that much, just cancel and buy a PS3. At least then when their network goes down you can't complain because you're not paying for it.
 
Maybe MS tried to play the odds, and offered a game not everyone would already have?

If they'd offered TMNT, Castlevania Or something popular, People would have probably been in a bigger uproar, because they already had the game :p
 
No sweat if you've already bought Undertow

Theres no need to worry if you've already bought Undertow, the game Microsoft is offering as good will gesture for Xbox Live down time. Major Nelson has said "If you have already purchased the game, you can contact support and they will take care of you."
 
Ahh i thought this thread was a lot older as misread the date

Also as its only got us times on it could there be a chance of us lot not?

You're wrong.

Because I think it's rubbish, makes it rubbish.
Because others think it's great, makes it great.

It's about personal preference. I don't want someone making a decision on MY behalf and offering me something I don't want. It was my choice to purchase Live, it was my choice of what I spent my Christmas period playing and with whom.

Yet my Live purchase was 'disrupted', my choice of game was 'halted' and the people I wanted to play alongside were 'not available'.

In the very least, the fact that my freedom of choice was not honoured should be rewarded with something that IS my freedom of choice.

It's really easy to understand.
