I believe there was an option when buying the escort new not to hav ethe whale tail, I don't think anyone took it though :)
 
Was indeed a top weekend. I'm not a massive ford fan, but I've seen some awesome cars and met some top people this weekend. Making me consider a Mk3 Fiesta as a project/toy ;)

The ZT was amazing, so so quick, and sounded awesome.

And I think (hope ;)) Slime's comment was a joke ;)

that was the last version to be released, it also had the option of a t25 turbo (compared the normal t3)... i think it was more a ploy to try and sell a few more of the last ones made ;]

S1 ERS and escort cossies make me horny!
 
Zetec engines belong in Mondeos. I wonder where there is only one Mondeo Zetec Turbo :(

Plenty of Focus Turbo's and the Focus weighs the same as the Mk2 Mondeo (Yes, really, infact some of them even weigh more! so performance would be similar..
 
Sorry i'm sure your mates are very proud of their cars, but to me they look like nothing more than old discontinued ford's with spoilers on them, c h a v paradise.

Oh sorry how ignorant of me.

I've just got a think about escorts, some idiots thrash them past my house, in a village where the limit is 30, luckly we found out where they live and my next door neighbour went outside their house at 6am on a Sunday and revved up his R1 for about 15 minutes.

Oh dear. If you wish to comment, at least do a little bit of research, or ask, and we'll be pleased to tell you a bit about them. Your showing your obvious lack of knowledge for cars, so why not try to learn a bit? ;)

wow what a great story and how suitable for the thread :rolleyes: i see all kinds of nutters driving all kinds of cars doesnt mean i cant enjoy these smashing photos. thank you again andi for taking the time to post them so people in the know could enjoy them :)

Sorry but you must be a bit of a sad case if you enjoy looking at pictures of 10 year old fords of which some ploker has put big wheels and lexus lights on.

The Merc is the only bit of class I see.

Every time you subsequently post, you prove me wrong.

Do you actually have ANY clue about ANY cars at all beyond your Dads 316? Do you even know who Cosworth are? Do you know anything about the Escort Cosworth? Do you understand the fact different people like different cars and have different tastes, and how this doesn't make them stupid/sad/plonker?

I'm not saying you've got to love the cars, just tolerate other peoples interests. Personally I'd rather get a bus ticket than ever set foot inside any Mk3 Fiesta, turbocharged or not, but unless the thread is specifically about a car, and opinions etc, then its something thats kept to yourself unless you can voice it tactfully.

It's a general thread about Andi's day and the RS Fords he's seen. It's not a thread about how crap Fiesta Mk3's are, how people who drive Cosworths are 'saddo chavs' or about how 316's > Turbocharged Fords.

You really, really need to get some clue - desperately, before you end up seriously offending somebody.

i just really hope it doesnt put andi off posting photos in the future, ill say it again, i really enjoyed these along with the rally photos in another thread and its nice that people take the time to upload them and then post here for us to see :)
