Andi's Weekend In Pics (56k warning)

Some lovely cars there Andi. I'll have to keep a mate of mine away from this thread - he's just had to sell his ECos to a breaker for £8k :( Long and unfortunate story.

oh man some lovely escort cossies there. never liked the rs turbos though. oh and nice to see a brilliant thread RUINED by children that dont know what a cossie is

a standard sapphire cossie will grace my driveway soon :D

P.S - before a don bans me for telling them to sod off and for perdsonal attacks....they started it so ban them too if you're gonna. I'm merely defending myself which in a country of free speach i am entitled to do.
True. Kind of.

They did start the personal attacks, but you invited them upon yourself.

Now, this country might be free speach (sic) but this forum is not. In future if you feel you're being attacked report it to a mod please.

I hope thats the childishness over and we can return to talking about the lovely pics posted earlier in this thread :)

er, sod off mooron..i know plenty about cars and in my opinion, which i am entitled to they look crap, nothing more to say really. Whale tails might have been fitted as standard, that dsoesnt make them any better - they still look ugly, out of place and chavved up!

Same goes to you, sod off!

You drive a diesel out of choice, you will never ever ever understand. :p

There are some truly awesome and lovely cars there. Nice pictures Andi - definitely an enthusiasts meet for proper petrolheads! :D That must have been surreal going through the towns in convoy in those glorious machines.

Ooh about the only Fords worth buying are the "old skool" Cossies / RS Turbo's. (Sorry Fox :p)

A lurker and mate of mine round here who goes by the name "Trox" use to have a very nice Escort Cossie for his weekend car and a RS Turbo for generic use.... bas!

I'll point him at this thread when he gets home from work me thinks!

I saw the first white Fiesta RST going through preston on sunday. I thought it looked well mint. Might have to find me a little weekend project now.

Looks like a good time was had by all.

Ste

Blimey, what are the chances of that. About 4-4:30? We were probably on our way home from this meet then.

The convoy was fantastic, through the town centre everybody turned to look, was brilliant, passed a learner driver at a roundabout, his face was priceless :D

Did peoples faces say "holy crap - who let the scrap yard out?" :p

Only kidding :p It was too much bait!

Hmm, i'm not overly convinced by the massive collection of very dated and nastily chavved up cars...specially the whale tails  :(

Most of these are becoming Clasic cars m8, Series 1 RST already is.

Nice cars there, if i ever find a good solid S1RST itll be mine :D

Well, I would expect a '93 Sti or Evo 3 to outgun one on any surface but maybe I'm wrong. These cars cost less to buy now aswell. The cosworth commands its price because of its icon image alone. This isnt something I disagree with. When it was released, it was a special car. Today it is special because it is a classic, not because of any performance ability.
