Andor (Star Wars)

Glad you all liked it. Some reaosn for me I found it totally boring. Not one scene had me interested, and I kept forcing my way through in the hope it got good but nothing.

Shame as rogue one is easily my favourite star wars movie, about 50 points ahead of the next one.

Amazing how peoples opinion differ. Like you Rogue One is my favourite star wars film, leagues ahead of all the rest and i loved Andor. Okay it started slow but once I was a few episodes in i was gripped. The whole setting of the world and the writing and acting was far above normal star wars (or many other shows tbh). Later epsiodes I was sad every time it was over and couldnt wait for the following weeks. To me I want more of it and wish they had taken this approach with Obi Wan and Boba.

Lol didn't realise this had wife beater Trevor in it.

Like a few of you, I almost gave up after episode 1 but so glad I stuck with it. Probably one of my favourite things in star wars.

Missed the end credits, and had no idea what they were making in prison

Didn't she kill him with an iron?

I've avoided this thread as didn't want to see any spoilers. Read through in now and I seem to be in the majority of thinking it was boring to start with, the raid steeped it up a bit, got boring a little then was brilliant from the prison onwards. I think this is the best SW series so far, better than Mandalorian imo.

Just finished watching it. Very slow and I felt the prison scenes were just dragging.

=" Don't they have facial recognition in star wars? The moment he was arrested, they would have ran a check? Then in the prison, no checks. When he decides to come back, why is he not in good disguise, or even wearing a hat? How come the lady senator ended up seeing that mob guy again? Kinda lost why she needed the money, thought it was to fund the rebellion?"

The lady senator has been funding the rebellion with her money for ages. The issue is the Imperials have introduced new laws and checks and are busy checking peoples financial transactions. She has managed to fill all the gaps and account for a lot of the money but there is one massive gaping hole of millions of credits. If that is still there when they get to look at her accounts then she is done for. Hence she has to sell her daughter in an arranged marriage to the gangsters son in order for the gangster to fill the missing credits in her books. It proves she will do anything needed for the Rebellion

Mon Mothma's story arc is actually one of the more intriguing parts of the series imo and actually adds something to the surrounding films. Shows how and why she's so important to the Rebellion.
