Yeah this is the whole point. Say you have a DVD/HD movie (non itunes) on your macbook and you want to play it on your TV, you can simply stream it on to your TV by playing through iTunes!

MacBook Pro.. I aint no sissy ;)

I mean, do they get added to the library.. I've never manually tried adding a downloaded TV show! :p

Also, I meant in general.. wasn't thinking about it in an AppleTV way.

In windows at least, i've tried adding various video files to itunes, and it just doens't play ball, and seeing as the uk itunes store still doesn't offer video, the apple tv seems to be a device with no video content to play (at least in the uk). I guess i'll have to look into converting all my video files to something itunes can playback, should i decide to buy an apple tv.

Now, if they started a subscription based video download service, i'd buy an apple tv in a heart beat.

Portability is king :D

Anyways, I just realised they have to be in mp4 to play.

Also its not called iTV here its called (apple symbol)TV!

Its normally put up on apples site, its not up there yet. Dont think you can download it tho, it streams the keynote from apple.com

Sadly no. :(

I wouldnt worry, they are $100 a share! I was looking into buying some earlier this week, but I didnt want to risk more than £500, and so I looked at the current price ($84) and calculated what I'd make if it went up 10%, and it was barely more than the purchase costs, so I didn't bother. You'd have to have bought a lot of shares to have made the most of the price jump.

However, I did advise my brother to buy some to which I got "Dont be stupid, the market already knows what they're gonna say so the price won't change at all". Sure bro, whatever! ;)
