Not sure if serious.

Was going to say not sure if serious, then I re-read and that post is definitely not serious lol.

Dude.....really?

It was very much not serious.

I drink maybe once every 3 weeks, but when I do it's complete binge and I turn into a **** most of the time.

My tolerance is very low, am never sick, but 'black out' so to speak and forget events during the night!

Indeed, you could function quite normally but still be killing yourself at an alarming rate.

Yeah this is the thing, just because you're living and able to function (you should see what people almost think is functioning at times) doesn't mean it isn't going to ruin you.

I know someone who held a job, but drank more alcohol consistently than I've personally seen in someone, it ultimately killed them.

I don't drink really.

Don't like the taste of most things... and going out specifically to get drunk isn't really my thing.

I rarely drink now. Been out twice this year.

There was a time I would drink 4 cans a night, but that was social. I as living with a few dockyard contractors at the time...those boys like to drink.

i usually have a friday (and/or) saturday out drinking, usually to excess, and maybe have a few on a weekday (usually have 3/4 cans on a wednesday evening with friends).

aside from that, i don't drink for the rest of the week. i'm not particularly worried about it, but i have got a bit of a beer belly... that's my only concern :p

I haven't touched a drop for 13 years now and haven't missed it one bit.

I just didn't like the taste and didn't at all relate to the 'must get smashed' way of thinking.

Comes in handy for the rest of the lads though as whenever we go somewhere that is going to involve alcohol, I'm happy to drive.

I use to be rather dependant on it, would happily drink a bottle of vodka a night 6 years ago, was stressed, suffering depression and just split with the girlfriend. I look back now and think what a fool I was but at the time didn't see it. It didn't affect my work as such, just kept on with it, doing what I needed to do but the job then wasn't really taxing.

Now I still drink but nowhere near as much as I use to, it might sound bad, but some weeks I can get through a few crates of strongbow, others won't touch a can all week. I've cut down massively since the girlfriend moved in with the little one, still drink but it's 4-5 cans a week now, not a night. Also saving for a wedding helps!!

Drinnking 6 bottles (so 3 pints) a night at the moment and more on friday/saturday. Cutting down slowly.

My missus drinks a bottle of wine a night, sometimes more at the weekends. She took it badly when I first told her she was an alcoholic. Most people seem to think that you're not an alcoholic unless you wander the streets unwashed and abusing strangers.

I'd say 50% to 60% of the people I know, mostly women interestingly, are alcoholics they'd just never admit it or perhaps don't realise.

Should have had a "i got medical problems due to alcohol and dont drink anymore " option to see how many people have been bad on the booze in the past and changed their ways to compare to the people who have medical problems and just dont give a damn and keep drinking.

I drink a 4 pack of Fosters and a 500ml bottle of vodka daily. It starts from about 9am (can before work), at work I'm able to drink vodka as it's for the most part odourless and looks like water in my cup.

The other 3 cans are drank at home with my evening meal and while watching corrie.

Where do you work? Sterling-Cooper?

I can quite happily survive on water/tea, but I enjoy a thimble or two of a decent red wine most evenings. A bottle can last from 1 - 4 nights depending on various parameters (pain being a good/bad one :( ).

If there is none in , I do not worry about it :)

I suggest you see a doctor - that's ridiculous.

The options are a bit limited. I have a few drinks in the week and then sometimes a big weekend.

So I picked "binge drink and don't care"

ive put the top one ,i drink maybe 3 times a week but tend to drink too much in one of those times (maybe 12 to 14 units) ,i recon my weekly unit score is just over at 30
