Anyone flashed there Vario II to wm 6?

Just using the default T-Mobile one. But having some connectivity problems at the moment. Had to force frequency band to GSM.
 
On a side not i forgot toback up my ring tone that went "ring ring ring ring mr bannafone".....youve got this feeling or something like that.

i got it from a link posted here originally that had loads of free tones.

Anyone point me in the direction.

Grrr!!! Just as everyone flashes with the HTC 2.05 ROM (this is a test firmware that they send out to network operators to ruin), HTC have now released the 2.11 ROM Final!

Don't know if I can be bothered to re-flash and then install all my applications again. The 2.05 ROM has been pretty good for me so far. Only problems I'm having is making and recieving calls on 3G (GSM works fine), but I reckon thats probably a network issue.

If I'm in 3g and try and get on the net it dials a few times then can't connect and comes up with the no modem at this number message yet when I'm in normal gprs it works fine???

Also when I am connected via gprs it dis connects if I'm not actively using the connection which is annoying

So I can't get connected at all with 3g and when I'm connected with gprs it doesn't stay connected so its no good for msn

i might flash mine with that as i've only installed opera & tomtom since i flashed mine :)
 
Well, from what I've been reading, this 2.11 ROM flashes really quickly (no more 25 minute wait), is a bit more quicker than the 2.05 ROM and more importantly (for me anyway) finally has support for WPA2!

I'd personally hang on a bit until somebody releases a cooked version of this so its Hard_SPL ready and contains the hack that frees up an additional 8MB of storage memory. Shouldn't be too long to wait.:)

Are you 100% sure that you've entered the connection details in correctly?

keep us posted :D Im quite happy with 2.05 as well, have sorted out the connection speed, its just the signal in my area :p

Right guys, you can be rest assured that this 2.11 ROM is good!

Speed wise, its just as stable and fast as the 2.05 ROM. Only major differences I can see is WPA2 support, 3G icon instead of U and a greatly improved flash time (10 instead of 25 minutes).

After a fresh install, you're left with approx 50MB for storage and 30MB for running programs.

All my apps run fine. They are:

Mort Player
Opera
MS Live Search
Resco Explorer
Mem Maid
Tweaks2k2
Cool Camera

Hopefully another one won't get released a few days later! :p This should be perfect until a more mature WM6 version is released.
