• Competitor rules

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Anyone just given up on looking for a new GPU?

I suspect that the size of the retailer plays a factor - the bigger ones may have better contractual agreements in place. eg. if you are an e-commerce giant, or are a big retail park chain
So while some retailers end up having to pay whatever is being asked for at the time, those bigger ones may have a longer term supply agreement in place that would have a specified price and rate of supply.

OCUK are typically supported quite well by a couple of the AIB's, so when an e-commerce giant and retail park chain can hit £700ish for a particular card, there is usually no reason why OCUK couldn't too, if they wanted to.
Caseking are one of the biggest PC etailers in Europe so probably outsell some of those others you mention and have pretty similar deals to what they have.

£1200 for 3070, no thanks. I hope this madness will end soon.
Careful, OCUK will close the thread if you accuse them of Profiteering.
There obviously not that expensive as 3070's have been popping up all over today for a lot less than OCUK.
Pure Greed, or OCUK do not have as good a relationship with suppliers as they make out if they are paying that much more themselves.
