Why does the OCUK product page for this AOC monitor mention 'LG' ???

gibbo nothing to do with the copy and paste from the lg used thenLG make the panel.
as it also says "This monitor's Thunderbolt" that's on the lg but I don't think this has it

Mine has arrived. At work so I haven't opened it yet.
Has anyone else noticed their box wasn't even closed up properly. The tabs aren't even in their correct slot in the lid but it does have an AOC plasitc seal. Looks like it's been opened to be honest. I'll see more when I get it home.

No it's not.
Unless you know something we don't about this monitor specifically (But I doubt that)
same here my plastic seal was broken I got mine from somewhere else about 2 weeks ago

I will be reviewing the Dell when they have some available. And that will provide a thorough comparison. I expect similar performance aside from the curve to be honest.
Am moving from the DGM27" myself - will report when all up and running.

Doesn't seem the case looking at the LG 34UC97 though. It still bleeds like a stuck pig.
