I'm not really sure anybody was planning to switch from the LG, but the price point of the AOC is going to be more attractive either way. If excess bleed issues are again prevalent then perhaps some users would want to wait for curved editions instead, if they feel that will bother them.

But yes, 1 is certain not a statistically significant sample. Not promising to see though. :)

No. I tried to get an exact date out of AOC but they don't seem to be able to give anything more specific than 'October' as the current target. Likely later rather than earlier in the month if anything.
 
I currently have an AOC Q2963PM 29 inch Ultrawide IPS LED Monitor (21:9, 2560x1080, 6ms, UWHD) and really like it a lot but do wish i had a bigger screen at times and the wife has said i can spend again and i just might have to wait for this to see what price range we are looking at with it being so close to its release :)
