AOC u3477Pqu 34-Inch 3440 x 1440 Monitor

After I've reviewed the PG278Q and AOC g2460Pg I'll have a proper review of this monitor up. :)

Kitguru:
the AOC U3477PQU ships with a superior IPS panel, and the retail price is said to be between £549 and £599 inc vat – making for a very compelling purchase. The U3477PQU should be available in the UK later this month.

I've been holding off on deciding which monitor to get and I'm glad I have. This is looking like it could be the one. I'm reluctant to send my money in LG's direction after seeing how inconsistent their customer service is along with glaring design issues which don't seem to be getting addresed. Assuming the price is right and there are no major issues with the AOC this could well be an amazing buy. Look forward to seeing some more in depth reviews.

Worst thing is I just know it within a year or 2 they will have super wide 4K gsync/freesync screens and cheaper also lol

In 2 years we may have the power to run something that grand. For now Something like 3440x1440 is just about within comfortable limits :D

Totally stoked about this monitor. Sounds awesome!

I was tempted by the LG but it's kind of expensive and having to pay extra for a height adjustable stand after spending £800 on a monitor was too bitter a pill to swallow. The AOC looks to be spot on for the price.

I am very tempted by this monitor and its nice price point, I have been looking at the LG for some time but the price was just to much.

One way or another, I'm hoping Superwide (and curved superwide) monitors take off, bringing the price down over the coming years. We've put up with 'vanilla' 16:9 screens for too long!

I bet we will see a flock of Asus ROGs ,29"-34" super wide panels and early 4K panels on members market once a 4K+gsync screen arrives or 29-34"+gsync arrives :)

We also have those IPS 144hertz panels incoming, good times ahead!

They also mentioned this on twitter about the delay: "seems there was a technical issue and we need to ensure its fixed which means 2nd batch"
