***** AORUS DID NOT INVENT THE GRAPHICS CARD, THEY PERFECTED IT! RTX 2000 SERIES!! *****

I must have been the only one that got a card from here and hasn't returned it haha. I do think it does run hotter than other cards but I'm not getting anywhere near as hot as you guys are. I'm only getting to 68 max in bf5.

No idea how people are getting a Strix at 2100mhz full load to run at 52. The YouTube video I watched had it up at 66 with default fan curve stock oc and open air test bench.

This is starting to worry me and i bought a waterforce considering changing my order to something else. Although you would hope the temperatures would be ok with a waterblock ... mind you would expect the air temps not to be so high .

From my experience with it, I think a waterblock is exactly what the card needs. All of my criticisms of the card are really levelled at its cooler. I went for the Sea Hawk instead of the Waterforce simply because it was cheaper and I knew stock was on the way. That said, I won’t take delivery until Sat.

I have to say that OCUK were excellent at arranging the return for me and processed my refund within 24 hours. Impressive considering they were also dealing with some Black Friday madness.

What many people are forgetting is that each games have different thresholds to when they will crash. An example is that his 2100 will work with some of his games and when he tries another game where that OC crashes he will be shocked and comments like " it works FINE 24/7 with GAME A - this means this game is rubbish as it does not accept my OC what should I do? "

I run mine around 2000 - 2050 and that works fine with pretty much every game I play. Any more and games like D2 and BF5 will crash over time. Whilst other games happily run at 2100 24/7.

Interesting, cant really see his temps in game. Seen it at 77 at one point, mine is more like 88 lol.

Wow 448w power draw, no wonder my 650w PSU could not handle it when CPU/GPU Overclocked.

Cherry picked reviewer sample it would seem.

Agree 100%

Ever notice the main review sites seem to reach massive high overclocks and then they put in their comments all of these cards should reach 200 plus overclock plus on the core. Then you go to reddit and forums and only a handful ever reach that.

I was gutted when mine started playin up . But OCUK have been really helpful when it came to gettin things sorted for me I can not fault them at all keep up the good work lads I’ll always get my kit off you .:D

I
I have changed my waterforce order to a MSI seahawk ek. Hopefully works out quite well.

My one is throttling down because its reaching 89C. Its at this point i see it dive down to 1500mhz or there about.

The cooling on the card is not good and I am getting weird shutting down issues.

this card needs better cooling fans and better heatsink. I think gigabyte really have messed up a lovely looking card.

Its by far the best looking card i have ever seen but the thermals are some of the worst. My old 6990 is better card and that had just a single blower fan.

Have you reseated and replaced the thermal paste? I know its a lot to ask on a new card but it could make all the difference you need to see normal temps.

I was considering it but it would mean i would void my warranty not sure i would take the risk with a £!400 card that should really work out the box and its my brothers card. My main issue is that I i get some weired shutdown of the card, the fans go dead and it spins back up and the screen becomes unresponsive for a few seconds. Just doing some extra tests that other suggested in a thread i made earlier but honestly I think its something to do with Gigabyte LED software, not sure as I dont see anyone reporting such issues.

I wont know for a few days and add to this some horrible coil whine and I really think i might just send the card back and order again but a different brand. Its not my card but my brothers but EVGA are looking very temping, people are getting excellent cooling with them almost 15-20 less than this gigabyte model but its one of those ugly ducking cards.

I would consider the Strix if you have the extra cash, the cooler is excellent. I did nt know it would void your warranty so in that case just send it back and just get a better card. It certainly seems like Gigabyte has messed up with the cooler here and if i was you id just get rid and replace.

I've kept mine but the temps are awful in any game that is very demanding on the GPU. Tomb Raider 2013 has mine running at 84c dropping clocks down to 1900MHz. The cooler is not fit for purpose at all. If you're reading this just avoid buying it and go with a Strix or FTW3.

Not to add to the negativity but I returned mine last week for the reasons above .. Strix or FTW3 do seem the best options unless sticking a water block on it

The video isn't false if that's the way his card behaves. Though it is suspect that a reviewer gets one that works fine and the ones on sale generally sound like a hairdryer and ramp up to stupid temps.

I'd be interested in hearing what @GIGA-Man has to say about this as it's obvious for the most part the cooler on the cards isn't up to the job, recycled 1080ti heatsink that is struggling to deal with turing core temps.
